



Yoga for All
Consists of a balance of exercises suitable for all ages and levels of competence. Class includes relaxation, postures, breathing techniques and a short meditation.

These classes are for anyone who has done yoga before and is ready for more advanced yoga postures, done with deeper inner focus and concentration.

This 45-minute session is an energetic and revitalising experience to carry you through the day and reduce the build up of work-related stress and fatigue.

Yoga for Pregnancy
This class will improve your fitness and facilitate labour. Yoga balances the body, emotions and mind, and soothes the spirit. You will learn to access deep resources of energy, through relaxation, postures and breathing techniques.

Beginners Courses
10 or 12 week courses comprised of Saraw Hitta asanas ("exercises good for everybody")
This introductory course is designed for people who lead full active work lives and is suitable for anyone regardless of age, ability or physical condition. Saraw Hitta asanas are simple and effective exercises offering increased flexibility of joints and spine, and improved blood circulation through the entire body.
Such benefits promote greater mental and physical health while preparing the body for more advanced yoga techniques. The 1.5 hour class includes relaxation and asanas, with a breathing exercise and short meditation at the end.
Pranayama and Meditation
Pranayama is the conscious guidance of our "life energy" (prana) through the awareness of our breathing process. In this class, the teacher will take you through a technique to balance, harmonise and unite the "energy channels" of your physical, mental and spiritual being.
Following pranayama, the teacher will guide you into meditation. Meditation is the deepening of awareness beyond our sensory perception and understanding, to the essence of who and what we are. At this level of awareness, we are able to embrace all that we are, both as an individual and as part of the whole. Through meditation we are able to come to terms with our individual qualities and our relationships, and to deepen our understanding of ourselves and the purpose of our lives.
